LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Hackers hit Kentucky’s Republican Party, but the site has since been restored.
A screenshot from the Republican Party of Kentucky’s official site can be seen at right. You can see it says the site has been, “hacked by Slim El and Anon-Coders Team.”
Party chairman Steve Robertson says he has no idea why the site was hacked. He said the site developers were working to restore it, but he has no time frame.
Robertson adds that none of the site’s contribution systems — which are on a different server — were hit.
