Man duped of Rs 25,000 by hackers

A man was duped of Rs 25,000 after unknown persons allegedly hacked into his bank account in Faridabad, police said today.

The victim, identified as Rajiv Dixit, a resident of Bhansawali village in Faridabad was duped of the amount on March 4 after the accused transferred the money through internet banking, the SHO Tigaon Inspector Rajdeep Singh.

An FIR has been registered today under section 402 of IPCagainst unknown persons following a complaint by the victim, the SHO said, adding that more sections of Cyber Act would be invoked after the investigation.
