All the excitement over Pokémon Go has created a bit of a security concern for your phone.
The problem is not with the real Pokémon Go. It has to do with the fakers out there.
This game hasn’t even been available for an entire week yet, and already, scammers have created their own look-alike apps in order to get your personal information.
“They want your banking passwords. They want your email information. You may even have pictures that you don’t want public. They want that as well,” said John G. Iannarelli, Former FBI Special Agent. “You need to use caution on your phone just like you do with your computer.”
