The website of the Organizing Committee of the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics could have been attacked by a group of unidentified hackers, local media reported Thursday, citing committee members.
TOKYO (Sputnik) — The website crashed on Wednesday evening and did not get back online Thursday morning.
There have been numerous simultaneous attempts in a short period of time to connect to the web-page that deactivated the site, according to the Kyodo news agency.
