Many of us heavily rely on technology, cell phones and computers, but we’re unknowingly inviting hackers into our lives. They’re taking devices hostage, spying on your private moments, and they’ve now found a way to cash in on exploiting you.
“They can also use your computer, essentially weaponize your computer against you,” says Adam Benson from the Digital Citizens Alliance.
Hackers are crawling out of the Internet’s darkest corners and invading our homes. Known as “ratters” these cyber spies place RATS, Remote Access Trojans, on our computers and smartphones.
Benson warns these ratters can take over our lives.
“Start accessing the web camera, so they can shoot pictures of you walking around your bedroom, your house, doing different things. They can start sending emails to your friends with malicious links,” says Benson. For the full article click here
