ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – The official Twitter account of University City is the apparent target of hackers. Anti-Hillary Clinton messages were discovered today. The city is taking steps to get to the bottom of what happened.
The city manager tells me the city took action as soon as the problem was discovered. He is having his IT team look into how this happened.
There was no talk of the Twitter hack during a special session of the University City council. The meeting was called to choose a consulting firm related to building a new police department.
Two of Donald Trump’s tweets were liked by the university city’s account. One reads, “no one has worse judgment than Hillary Clinton. Corruption and devastation follows here wherever she goes.” The second tweet reads, “Hillary’s wars in the Middle East have unleashed destruction, terrorism, and ISIS across the world.” For the full article click here
